In the Montessori, bilingual greenschool community, together with the parents, we stand by the Child and humbly support his every effort. We lower to his level, hug him, show him the way to explore our world on his own and rejoice in all his daily small and big conquests. When the Child is in an environment where he feels accepted, trusted and his needs are met, he develops harmoniously. Then you see the smile lighting up his face, he freely expresses his tenderness and is in solidarity. You sense it in the way he touches the flowers in the garden, with how much concentration he shovels and digs the garden, how boldly he speaks his mind. How much care and attention to detail he shows as he sets the table, how happily he reads books to the younger children and how proudly he talks about the arithmetic operations he learned. How courageously he sets his limits and says "no" to behaviors he doesn't like.
With deep respect for the new life that is developing, we ourselves become better people for the sake of the Child, for the sake of the new humanity we all dream of.
The Montessori community of greenschool together with the parents, we are next to the Child with love, humility, acceptance and respect. Through continuous observation of the small group of Children, we see the unique needs of each Child and constantly redefine the way of approach so that the Child unfolds his personality harmoniously. It is a painful and difficult path that we have consciously chosen.
When we set the Child free to develop and watch it build the adult man, from the invisible roots of creation, then we will learn the secrets that regulate our individual and social power.
